About this light kit
Give your LEGO® Game Boy™ an illuminated retro finish with this light kit compatible with Set 72046. Cool blue lighting around the cartridges and lower edge contrasts with a warm yellow accent along the console, creating a display inspired by a familiar handheld classic.
The colour contrast helps the console and separate game cartridges stand out when your room lighting is lowered. Place the completed model on a games-room shelf, desk or collection cabinet to enjoy the details alongside your other gaming favourites. The lighting adds atmosphere while retaining the shape and character of the build.
Choose the Touch Version for touch-controlled adjustable brightness, or the Sound Version for built-in game sound effects. Check your selected version before ordering, as the lighting controls and supplied components differ between the two.
The kit includes tweezers to help position small components during installation. Take your time routing the wires around the bricks and follow the installation guidance for a tidy presentation. The small lighting parts are intended to keep the focus on the console and cartridges.
